At this time, Dune Sport cannot ship our trailers directly to Canada. However, we can arrage shipping to the US / Canadian border on the US side, where you can meet one of our drivers to take delivery. We have sold several to customers in Canada and even Alaska who have taken their new toy hauler across the border without any problems.

" On importing vehicles or trailers into canada....the Fax to the US side....the 72 hour restriction...etc....is now only for "USED" vehicles/trailers.

.....On new ones......nothing is required. It is assumed by border services that new units from dealers are not stolen. Just show up with unit....papers....bill of sale......pay fees and taxes......which are the same - the federal inspection....(done by Canadian Tire) is the same for new or used.

NOW THE HARD PART - "TAXES". YOU WILL PAY $194 CANADIAN PROCESSING FEE. ($204 WITH TAX.......YES......THEY TAX THE TAX......CHEEKY....HUH....?) THEN PAY GST/PST ON PURCHASE PRICE JUST AS YOU WOULD IN CANADA.

WHEN HOME IN CANADA YOU WILL HAVE A FEW MONTHS TO HAVE YOUR VEHICLE TRAILER INSPECTED. CANADIAN TIRE DOES THIS......NO FEE.....AS THAT IS WHAT THE $194 PAYS FOR... VERY CURSERY INSPECTION....(TAIL LIGHTS...GVW STICKER....ETC........ALL ROUTINE.
